Women's Rites of Passage · Devi Lineage · Coming Soon
Every major passage in a woman's life was once held in ceremony. Menarche. Birth. Matrescence. The wisdom years. Death. We were severed from these rites. The container for their return is being built.

For thousands of years, women's rites of passage were held in community — with elders, with lineage, with someone who had already crossed that threshold waiting on the other side to receive the woman crossing. Menarche was ceremony. Birth was initiation. Menopause was the arrival of the elder, not a medical event to manage. Death was the final crossing, tended with the same devotion as the first breath.
Colonization, migration, assimilation — these severed women from their rites. Many of us crossed these passages alone, without names for what was happening, without witnesses, without ceremony. The body kept the memory of what was missing even when the mind had no words for it.
My grandmother thumbed her rosary every morning and went somewhere the rest of us couldn't follow. She was communing. She held a thread I didn't find until I was deep in my own practice — in India, in the hermitage in the Himalayas, in the Dasha Mahavidyas. This container is built for the women who are still looking for that thread. Rooted in the Devi and Shakti traditions, Ayurveda, and the ancestral lineages of Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Cuba.
Devi does not manage your passages. She inhabits them. She is the threshold itself.

The Passages
Menarche is not a medical event. It is the body announcing herself as a woman. This passage, once held in ceremony across every culture, is now met with silence or a box of tampons. The ceremony it deserves still exists. It lives in the lineage.
Birth is the most profound initiation a woman can undergo. And matrescence — the metamorphosis of self that begins the moment a child enters the world — is rarely named or held. She is not the same woman. She was never meant to be.
Perimenopause and menopause are not decline. They are the arrival of the woman who knows. The elder. The keeper of bones and memory. She who no longer bleeds outward now holds her blood as wisdom within. This is the seat of power.
Colonization, migration, assimilation — these severed women from their rites. Many of us were the first born on unfamiliar soil, inheriting belonging and rootlessness at once. The bridge back exists. It is built from the ancestral knowledge that survived.
Death is as sacred as birth. It asks the same quality of presence. Rasa has walked with her grandparents through their dying, and with Zen through his. She knows how to hold the space, build the altar, stay through the end.
Ayurveda teaches that the body carries memory — cellular, ancestral, karmic. The womb especially. Rasa's work returns this knowing: that symptoms are signals, cycles are teachers, and the body is not broken and never was.
Coming
A 54-card oracle rooted in the Dasha Mahavidyas and the broader family of Devi — built not as illustration but as evocation. Each card holds the elemental body of a Devi: her bhuta, her vahana, her flora, her color. A devotional study tool and a working oracle in one.
A companion manual written in collaboration with Tantric scholars and sadhaks will hold her teaching, her practices, her mantra, and her place in the spiral of women's initiation. The lineage deserves that rigor. I won't put something out that bypasses it.
This is the anchor of the Sacred Feminine container. It's being built. Be the first to know when it arrives.
